The Triple Crown NOS is posted and accepting registrations. New this year, any class sponsored event with over 30 boats earns points towards your standings!
We’ve got a great slate of events for our members to sail at and we hope to see you at them!

Hello all!
Notice of Races are being posted on our website and some event registrations are opening up later this month. Please make sure to read them all the way through and pay attention to the arrival dates and times. Please be respectful to our host clubs and their members and do not arrive earlier than stated.
Just added: 2025 C420 California State Champs, June 28-29, at Long Beach Yacht Club. NOR coming very soon. Registration will open March 31 at noon eastern time.
We are planning our 2026 and 2027 events, if your club or area is interested in hosting a C420 Class Sanctioned National or Regional event please let me know. ed@club420.org

We have updated our NOR to include the following language and registration and waitlists. Please review so you are not caught off guard when our summer event registrations start opening.
Eligibility and Entry
To be fully registered, boats must have a skipper and crew listed, and forms signed. Boats that register without a skipper or crew, will be moved to the waitlist after 14 days. Boats will be taken off the waitlist in the order they registered as space allows.
Waitlist
After the maximum number of entries has been reached a waitlist will be formed. Teams on the waitlist will be notified, by the email listed in their registration, if a spot becomes available. Teams will have three(3) days to confirm their spot and pay the registration fee, if the team does not reply or pay the fee in the allotted time the spot will go to the next team on the waitlist. Please make sure the email addresses listed and phone numbers are up to date so you can be contacted.
Due to multiple questions at a recent event we wanted to clarify the use of some electronics during racing.
Per section A.1.2 The Rules of the Class Association are “closed class rules”. If it does not specifically say that you “may”, then you “shall not”.
Related to the question of electronics, under section C.3.8," A compass may be mounted to the mast…..If electronic, only a compass with heading, heading memory, and timing function is permitted".
As per section C.3.9, "Any electronic device that allows position tracking or has position tracking capability is specifically not permitted…”
Items that fall into the category include but are not limited to: Vakaros, Go-Pro w/GPS, Apple Watch, Garmin Watch etc.
The class will continue to monitor and look at this in the future. We are committed to ensuring that all of our events are sailed on a level playing field with no one sailor having an unfair advantage of any other.
